Went to Schofield with Dan and Dave. Got there 07:00 and left at 2:00. Used the stuff I always use with good results. There is plenty of ice, even for the not-so-foolhardy. Got all Bow's, 2 to 1 were little fall planters about 10" long. The big ones were all 16"-20" Scofield footballs with the biggest going 23" and about 3 or 4 pounds. Nice day to be out. I'll be at Huntington tomorrow, stop by have a beer and say hi. Jamie, you going with?

Congrats on the nice day on the ice. Do you stay down that way when you go back to back? Good luck tomorrow at Huntington.

Was going to head up to Huntington and look you up ( I was out of beer ), but had to much fun at Scofield today . My biggest went 18" with about 4 fish a hour . Caught one cut-bow and the rest were bows . Only hooked 3 smaller planters .When I first got there I used my flashlight and could see them cruising up close to the ice right to my light . Ice was 4" and seen ATV cruising around on the ice , but I will wait till it is a bit thicker . LOL Fished from 6:30 to 12:30 . I was the first on the ice but someone had the right idea by camping right on the shore . They hit everything I dropped down . Rat finkees , Needlefish , curly tail grubs , and ice flies . Not that many people there , maybe a 100 .

Where do you fish 0n Scofield?I usualy fish on the East side by the three shacks,but last year was not as good.

I was out by the little shacks just across from the island. Not sure what side of the lake that is. It's down where everybody parks.

You didn't miss anything at Huntington, it was slow. We went to Scofield about 1 and fished until 5. It was another good day at Scofield at least.

Sounds like you are starting to get a good foot hold on the ice. I am hoping for and looking forward to the chance to fish with ya this winter. And dont worry I will bring some good beverages!!![cool]
