Has the killing off of the fish up there started yet? Need a quick fix and was thinking of heading up the canyon but I just remembered about the article a while back. Found a couple articles about it but its not specific of when it starts...

I like going past the gate and below the falls. Last time I ventured that way there was a killer caddis hatch going on. So I tied on a slowwater caddis and caught about 10. A mixed bag of bows, cutts and browns.

Just got back from a picnic up there, MAN! you have got to get up there early on the weekends, it is a zoo right now. I agree with go to the gate, then I work my way down.

Ya I got up there around 1:00 and did my best to try and find somewhere fishable that didn't have a million kids in it but no go. Wind was making it really hard to stay out of the trees. I tried up big cottonwood to one of usual spots but the water flow is about 1/4 full so I just spook all the fish. Shoulda gone golfing today instead...

Just a heads up to all that are heading to them there hills, as I said, we were in the picnic area. There was a Rattle snake under the door to the supply room at the restrooms. So, basically people were walking past it to get to the restroom, and they were busy yesterday.[shocked]

yeah there seems to be a lot of them this year, ive seen more this year than the past few.
you just hope they let you know they are there before you are too close, we saw a baby one that didn't rattle until I was right on it.
