My unit is burnt and i am changing my tag to snake river zone. WOW what a long season. We are going to focus on unit 53. It is all flat no trees and not my normal elk hunting. If anyone wants to PM me on some info that would be great. I have seen 5 cows so far while scouting but did not have a tag. I think i want a bull to start but might take any elk after my first week of hunting. I know sometimes farmers will let you hunt to take elk off thier crops. if anyone knows anyone to talk to i sure would appreciate it. We will be staying close to shoshone the first and thrid week in September but will hunt anywhere there is ELK!
