Since I was out driving around, I went up to EC to take a look at the ramp. Lots of boats on the lake, camp ground looked full, people everywhere. Decided not to fish but ran into Mooncricket and his son who had just got off the lake, it sounded like they had a good morning on the water. Anyway they are down to a single lane boat launch and they still have the boat docks in place.

Just curious, to get the ramps down that low, do they build them before they fill up the reservoirs, or do they build them under water?

They built them before filling the lake. I don't think they can build them in water, I'm not sure the concrete would set up correctly.

Curt thanks for the drive by updates, appreciate any lake info, it helps me plan my fall launching and fishing strategy. I enjoy the fishing from a boat this time of year, less crowded, less heat and beautiful fall colors.
