Best Fall Bass Fishing Patterns?
#1
Curious to know some of everyone's go to patterns for catching bass in the fall. I haven't fished much in the fall, and I'm not super confident in what should be my go to patterns.

So far I've done really well on a shaky head worm, and a football twitched slowly on the bottom this fall, but I know there has got to be some better patterns out there. Any thoughts?

Curious - are you hooking those worms whacky style? I've used football/shaky head jigs - been liking the Chiggercraws - a watermelon or any thing crawfish like. And bigger this time of year - match the hatch.

Have run into quite a few on simply curly tail grubs on a jig head. Split colors seem to draw attention. Crappie and bass - where I hit it most.

Spinners always add some thump and draw attention.

I rig them texas style on a shaky head jig head. My favorite size is 1/4oz. I've been using the strike king green pumpkin finesse worms on them. Never tried it wacky.

Thanks for the tips for fall patterns. I've never thrown a chigger craw. I'll give it a go.

I've been also having good success on a square bill bluegill colored crankbait. Just thought I'd throw that one on here since I used them Monday night. We caught one that went about 4lbs using bluegill pattern cranks.
