Early Season Ice Fishing
#1
Decided to get out and hit the early ice this weekend. I found ice on a couple southern Idaho lakes. Caught a few small rainbows and a bass. All fish were caught on a white Maniac Gizzilla tipped with a meal worm in less than ten feet of water. The ice was spotty so be careful, it should be a lot better by next week end. All the fish were released alive .

The ice was between 3-3.5" where I was at. I wouldn't go walking around I could see a lot of little open water sucker holes scattered across the lake
