Hit mantua today with deerinator. we were on the ice at 7:30 am. We fished 13 feet of water and hit the mother load! We left at 1:30. totaling 60 bg, 12 perch and 6 bows. all in all a great time!
Last picture is what happened to my bluegill. It was delicious!

Man that looks like a great day! After reading these great reports all week from my desk I'm excited for the chance to get out on the ice tomorrow.

With reports like this, I hope the ice is ready to support the crowds this weekend!

I don't think ice is a problem just came off and plenty of it. I would say there was a very good crowd for a Friday afternoon. We did very well for getting on the ice at 1500 and lving at 1715. About 40 perch and some nice gills.a very good outing for the first time this year.

How thick is the ice now?
I only ask because of the weight of all those jumbo perch I will have at my feet.
I don't swim well in cold water.

How thick is the ice safe enough for a fourwheeler yet

It was 4" of clear ice and 1" of frozen and unfrozen slush on top where we fished yesterday. I would not try an ATV yet.
