I'll be posting this on the Utah page as well - but I thought I'd reach out to my fellow Idahoans first to see if anyone had much experience chasing the big lake trout on Fish Lake. I'm heading down on the 11th with a group of friends that are all from Utah - and it seems like they have a decent grasp on how to do it, but I'm always looking for that edge! If anyone has some advice - I'd love to hear it if you're willing to help me out! We'll be headed down for 3 days and I'm taking snowmobiles to help transport us all around the lake if need be, but I've got one target: I want a big lake trout. PM me if you're feeling generous and want to help a guy out!

find some bottom structure and a jig. I have good l luck in MT with 1 1/2 oz-2 oz bucktails with some glow. Put a chunk of sucker on there for added appeal (if legal)
A fish finder is pretty much required.

Good luck down there man, and be ready for some wind. All i'll say about the lakers is that they eat the local fish to get big aka, perch and rainbows. Try a good searching spoon to fin the fish and then once you get on them jigs tipped with fish meat. Good luck out there man! Catch a monster!
