SC and the marina 1/5/14
#1
Got to SC about 7 am and set up in about 28 FOW. Didn't see anything on the finder for a half hour so we moved shallower. Started marking fish in about 15 FOW and managed to get one, a smaller 14" bow. Then it died. We moved all around and didn't spot anything. About 12 we decided we would go try near the strawberry bay marina. No love there either. Fished anywhere from 12-35 FOW and only spotted a couple of fish on the finder but didn't ice any. I heard some productive reports from today so I must have been doing something wrong. Fished with pearl tubes, ratfinkees, and paddle bugs mostly.

Thanks for the report!

I've found on the SC side that location and depth will often dictate success. Some may be getting nothing while others are successful on the same day. Some of the best locations on the SC side are a bit further out than what most care to venture to. For me, that's an advantage because those spots don't get very much pressure.

I had to call in sick so I could go to Lake Powell!
