Crappie running big in Az

Caught 12 Crappie at a lake near Phoenix last week and 4 were over 3 lbs with the smallest being 2 1/2 lbs. Much bigger than I remember up in the NW where I was raised.

Holly crap, that is huge, how long were these pigs? By the way, welcome to the site. Did you take any pics of those hog crappie? I'm sure the guys on the Az board would love to read your report, so I'm moving it to that board.
