There are a couple new Bear Lake cam's on the NOAA site. One points kind of toward Swan Peak and the other one points toward Garden City. The site also includes the one that points east from Bridgerland Village that many of you are aware of. Check it out at http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/saltlake/camera/

Nice views! It looks like the Bear is a bit cold right now! I tried to check out your cam on Hyrum but, it just showed the very top of some trees.
I've traveled all over the U.S. from Florida to Washington State and grew up here in Utah but, I don't remember where Hyrum is! Where is that Res. again?
Dang I'm getting old! It's true! The 1st thing to go is your mind!! [laugh]

The pic comes across great but we need to get a cam up on your roof for a bird's eye view. What would it take?

D-Link has some of the most affordable cam's (WiFi and RJ-45). I suppose one could be mounted on the west eve of the house and I could run a power cord through the same hole my coax for my VHF antenna goes through. I'd have to build a hood for it to keep the rain/snow off and I'm not sure how it would like Cache Valley's cold temps. One of the biggest problems is I don't have a static IP address on Comcast broadband cable, so I'd have to update the RipNLips web page every time it changed. However, it's only changed once since I signed up. Technically, another problem is that Comcast doesn't want you to run a web server on a home account and the cam's functionality is based on a built in web server.

RNL,
Can you put the link back up to your home weather web site. As you might know, I fish Hyrum a lot and I used your home site to figure out where I was going last year. Besides, I miss knowing what the temprature was in your garage.
