It seems that the weather might finally be getting back to normal starting this weekend, hopefully! With that maybe all of the fishermen with the "cabin fever" disease can finally get out and enjoy getting their STRING STRETCHED! The thing about Guntersville Lake is it can have a tendacy to do just that. With my recent trips to Chickamauga last spring and summer, I have seen and heard that it too can have just as good of a reputation. This lake has really come on strong the past few years and it has been great to see it come back as strong as it has. I fished this lake a lot during the '90s and seen the downfall that plagued it during that time. Now it's not just a few fishermen that are producing the big bags in the tournaments, but there are a lot of big bags coming in from a lot of different fishermen on a consistent basis. My hat's off to the great managment of this lake and to those that are responsible full and part time to get it back to where it's suppose to be. Now back to the Big-G, I look forward to doing reports on fishing patterns and lake conditions for Guntersville and Weiss Lakes on this site, and maybe the "cabin fever" can finally be put to rest. Have fun, Mike.
