After hearing about how so many peope are having such good luck at willard bay I decieded I might go there. But, I don't have a boat, I do have a float tube but I hear willard can produce some big waves at times. So is fishing good from the shore? I want to target wiper, so are they near the shore anywhere? And also I would like to know what you guys are using for lures. Thanks very much guys.

You could probably catch your body weight in crappie right now inside the North Marina from a tube. They were catching wiper using mussels for bait from the north marina dike - until everybody switched to the crappie.
North Marina will be closed to boat launching tomorrow (Sat) and there's free admission due to the Grand Reopening Ceremony. Personally, I'd avoid the place like the plague this weekend, but you could launch a tube or 'toon from the eastern side of the marina and get around the ramp closure if you could find elbow room - and a parking space.
