Hit the water at 8:00. Started on a flat off the main channel where we saw some topwater action but we never hooked up with anything. Moved to a bank that had a ledge about 15 feet off of it. My buddy picked up three there, one on a frog and two on a jig. Those three fish went about 9#. Moved around to a stump bed and my 7" Dinger gets nailed. I let it take some drag and finally get it to the boat where it promptly spits my bait back at me. I think it would've gone 5# plus. Did the usual and dropped my buddy off about 11:30 (he works 3rd shift) and went back out. Cranked around some lay downs and rocks in 10 FOW with no luck. Moved to a ledge and was getting short strikes on a trick worm. Switched to a black/blue jig and it was on, boated 10 bass in the next hour. Not much size but it was fun catching numbers. Water temps were 79-82 and it was dirty.
