Dr Phil and I had a wonderful time with the Lord this AM as we were boating to our first fishing stop. We fished until 10:00 AM and then the heat, chiggers, and pleasure boaters made us decide to call it a day. We had 11 keeper fish out of 21 fish. All crappie. It was a carbon copy of our previous trips. Deep water structure and fish seemed to bite a little better today. We only fished one dock which yielded one keeper. I had to wait in line while 7 or 8 other boaters to put boats in our take boats out. It wasn't too bad. Dr Phil said that about 2 of them knew how to back a boat up. emoBig

We did a little scouting just before we quit today. I always try to do a little bit of this every time that I go fishing. Your successes tomorrow will come from what you find today. I found 2 spots for some bamboo. I'm going to call one "Cracker Barrel" and the other, "Brothers". Don't ask me why. emoScratch emoCrazy emoBig emoGeezer

BTW, I saw several good sized bass floating at the dock at HBSP. Victims of poor circulation I guess. Mortality rates for summer tournaments take a bigger toll than most believe. Delayed mortality. Sad.
