Lake of the Woods Ice Advice

A few years ago I posted for some help with going to MN for ice fishing. I received a lot of great help and have spent the last few winters on Upper Red Lake in Waskish, MN with Jon Petrowski. It has been absolutely awesome.
I am looking to expand the experience and head up to Lake of the Woods. I would prefer to stay on the MN side of the lake.
I look for a 2 man sleeper with cooking stove that I can drive out to and stay in. Once I am there, I don't leave the ice for anything....
Does anyone have any recommendations, experience or advice they can share?

Glad you liked Jonny P. I'm the guy who suggested him to you couple years ago. Lots of resorts up there that can set you up - Wigwam, Ballards, Zipple Bay. I've gone out of Wigwam myself but they are all pretty good. Rainy Lake is another option - Woody's Fairly Reliable Guide service or Chris Granrud's Rainydaze are two I can recommend. Rainy's crappies late ice are the biggest I've ever run across and walleye and pike fishing are solid as well.

If you looking for a sleeper house sportmans lodge. Just day fishing wigwam or sportsmans there both five miles from Baudette right along the rainy river.
