Candi got her vacation off to a roaring start today. We caught several keeper sized crappie and she caught a toad at 15.5". Geniune TARP Black Crappie, released to get even bigger. In spite of needing fish for a fish fry, we just couldn't kill this beautiful animal. Candi has pics of it and will post on this thread after a little while. I only took 2 pics with my camera. emoApplause The keepers are getting bigger by the day. I caught several 12" inch fish before Candi arrived from her eye exam. Tenncrappie said that she needed to have the eyes checked again. emoPoke emoBig
<br /><br />I added a nice healthy spotted bass to the pot and Candi caught a little Largemouth bass. Wind this AM was from the south, then got really calm, before changing to the North this afternoon and blowing pretty hard. It gave Crazy Ivan a workout. We quit fishing around 2:45 or so. Thanks for going with me today, Candi. Congratulations on the TARP crappie today. It was a beaut. Next week, we will hit them again and good luck on your fish fry this weekend.
