New Fish Finder

Got a new fish finder for Christmas. Was wondering if anyone has one and how they like it. It is a Signstek FF-003. It's a small hand held unit and was wondering how it would work on the ice.

I found this a little strange in the product information:

"Note:
Cold weather is extremely hard on the electrical components within the display housing. It is suggested that you keep the unit in temperatures about 0 degrees during operation."

The few reviews I found on the unit were positive. I hope that it works out for you ice fishing.

Any fish finder that use double a batteries will dies fast during ice season. I got a showdown troller and when I first got it I used double a batteries and it would only work for 2 hrs till it had to be put in my pocket to warm up. Hope you can attach it with a 12v or good luck ice fishing with that thing.
