I would really like to ice fish this lake this year but, I know absolutely nothing about it other than there is a chance to find decent perch in it. Any advice on where to fish it and what tackle seems to work would be greatly appreciated. If I do make the trip, I would make it a 2-3 stay to make it worth the drive. Thank you in advance for any help.

I've fished it in two places, Boulder Creek and Sugarloaf, but I didn't catch any, so I may not be much help. What I can tell you is that an Idaho parks pass is handy for parking at Sugarloaf. There were maybe 12 groups ice fishing near the parking lot when we went, and I'm sure there were many more around the island just NW of the access.

A large number of ice fishermen tend to concentrate in the area between the public boat launch/golf course going south to Blue Heron camp/boat launch.

On the north end fish out of Poison Creek along the west mountain road.
