Any Reports on Jordanelle?

I am dying to try out my new boat and Jordanelle has the open water from marina to dam. Has anyone had any luck fishing J? I will probably try to locate some fish and get the downriggers to them, but I just don't know the reservoir very well. This is a test before I head to Bear Lake on Saturday. I am also trying out a new fish finder with that CHIRP technology...any tips or warnings? Thanks.
