Otter Creek

Ice is off and fish are biting! Or so i've heard. I would love to get in on this action and would like to know where I could get into them on my pontoon boat! Any help would be much appreciated!

Wish I could answer your question but I'll bump this back to the top, maybe some else will be able to help.

A good sonar will help. Try points, dropoffs, transition zones from shallow to deep. Try different baits and go from there.

The Eagles nest area is a good location on the lake to fish, there is plenty of access points to get on the water. Fished it last fall during the deer hunt, did fairly well from a pontoon boat .

Thank all of you guys very much! Your generosity is much appreciated. I am on a pontoon boat with a freshly equipped fishfinder, so I will hit the eagles nest area looking for them. I will also be sure to report back on this, so it can offer at least a little bit of information on the lake's report!

Dumb question, but isn't it possible to ask whomever provided this information to you for help?

Unfortunately the girl at Sportsmans Warehouse writing the "very good" report had no idea where Otter Creek even is..

Well, that certainly makes sense.
