Jordanelle 2/28
#1
So I made it out to Jordanelle for about an hour and a half this morning. It was my first open water fishing trip of the year! I mainly wanted to get the dog out for some exercise and make sure a few of my poles made it through the "winter" unscathed! I wasn't expecting much, since it was my first time there, but I was able to come away with a respectable rainbow in the 18-20" range on a deer hair jig, green head, dark brown hair with a piece of chub meat on it for good measure.

If you are intersted, check out the video at

The video spends a lot of time looking at my dog, but he is an 8 month old golden retriever, so it is pretty entertaining for me just to watch him run around in the mud!

Thanks! Yeah I got a Go Pro for Valentines Day from my fiance. I definitely need to keep her around, right?

I am getting better at using it every time I go out. It just makes one more reason to go fishing (as if I needed another reason)...

What do you use to edit your video? I liked how you showed what you were using each time. I have a GoPro and lots of video, I would like to post some. Thanks for the inspiration.

I use the free software from Go Pro; I think it is called Go Pro Studio. It is a fairly simple, straightforward program, but it does limit a few options that high end video softwares let you do. I really like going back over the video, so I can re-live all the fun things that happened on my trips! Let me know if you have any questions! It's a blast!
