Weber 4/9 +4/11
#1
Hit the weber below rockport on 4/9. Started the day with a 14" brown on a olive ginger streamer and one hit and miss. around 11 i switch to nymphs and started nailing them. Somewhere in the middle of fighting a big white fish i lost my big 4' net and forceps. Still landed it and 5 more browns. Ended with 9 hard fighting browns 14 to 17 and 2 whites up to 18. missed a bunch of hits and lost a few. That was the day to be there.. 4/11, by the time i got there, there were 5 cars that had already been through the same holes. Fishing wasnt nearly as hot. But i managed 4 up to 16. All the browns spent more time in the air than in the water.. It was like small mouth fishing out there.. The wind blew everyone over the dam and into the river so i left early...

Great report! It's been a long time since I fished that section of river, glad to know it's still good.

Very nice, I drove by today, looks like the water is up and very fishable.

Way better than the provo. But if everyone wants to stay there for a bunch of 8-12" fish, i wont complain...
