one family car have to take the wife to work later then i thought so i wouldn't even get there until after 1130 am since i drop her off in sandy i'm going to head to utah lake AFBH and check out a walk on the ice there

Went to Causey saterday from 1:00 till the sunset. At least 50 people on the ice and did not see one fish. Between the three of us that went we could not even get a bite. Slush was frozen then so at least that was not bad, and it was beautiful day.

I was in the North arm from about 9:00 to 3:00. Caught well over 50 small splake and 3 11" Kokes. I ended up changing to a 4" tube with large shrimp trying to get past the school of little guys and hoping to only entice the bigger fish. I still had nibbles all day by the little guys and only had one decent fish that I lost at the hole. I fished all different depths. The depth the 3 decent fish I saw on the finder that day was just over 40' and right off the bottom. Do the Kokes only get to 11" this time of year up there? That sure seems small.

Welcome to the site Troutboy, too bad you didn't do any better at Causey. Try getting there a little earlier next time and move around it you are not catching anything. We did good there fishing in the middle fork area but the bite can be lite, so a strike indicator can really help. WH2
