Ogden River 7/16/15

Haven't seen any reports on the Ogden river lately, and since I had a few hours to kill before work this morning, and have never been there, I decided to give it a go.

I went up about halfway between pineview and causey reservoirs. Water was crystal clear. Caught one 11" brown and lost one that was much much bigger. Had him on for several seconds, and then he jumped and my line snapped... I would guess he was around 18-19" based on feel and the eyeball test.

Don't you know that the water increases the underwater image size by 200%? I kid, there are some decent fish in there if you know where to look midweek when pressure is lower.
