Jmax, Chick, Bass, quick trip, 7/21/15, alone

Got out this afternoon from 1:30 till 6. Quick little four and a half hour outing. It was a little hot but the breeze kept it from being too bad. Did not find a lot that wanted to play. I only boated eight bass with four keepers and four slicks. Tried a little of everything but ended up junk fishing. Picked up one here and one there. Out of the four keepers I caught two on a jig and two on a shakey. Three were deep in water from 15 to 20 foot and the one other keeper was in about 9 foot holding on a grass point. Not too bad on the size with those four, had a 3/3, 3/8, 3/15 and the best of the day was 4/14.(Pic below) Not too bad with four at 15/8, needed to get the fifth keeper. Thought I had it twice. Had a dang drum hit a shakey on the edge of the grass that went about three pounds. Then I was fishing a ledge in about 20 foot and had one crush a chatter bait. I thought I had on a ten pound bass, turned out to be about a ten pound channel cat! emoCrazy On a dang chatter bait! emoBooHoo Jmax
