For us there was not a whole lot to report. I am not sure what we did wrong but we only boated seven last night. Had a decent respectable limit but never could get the kicker we needed to get us up in the weight you would need for a three fish dog fight. I believe we ended up with a 3/14, 3/11 and a 3/4 for our best three. Five years ago that would have been good. Not today, in the chick right now that is usually not even going to get a second look. We culled a 2/9 and a 3/1. So our best three were around 10/13 and our best five were around 16/7.

Caught them on shakeys, jigs and spinner baits. The water was almost 90 when we blasted off. I lost one that felt really good about half way back to the boat. Not sure if it would have made any difference. Wiskers also lost one. With just a couple folks still left to weigh in we went to get the boat on the trailer. At the time Treeman and partner were leading with 15.83 lbs. There was also one I believe at 15.49, then a 14 something, a 13 something and a couple 12s. Big bass at the time was somewhere around seven and a half to eight. They paid five places.

Congrats to the winners! emoWorthy Jmax

(Oh yea, meant to mention Chase was fishing with Derek and Chase beat us again. emoBig Derek sure can have some better weight when Chase is with him. emoTongue )(Wisker's guide stunk last night.)
