We hit the mouth to the narrows yesterday meet one other BFT member is the parking lot before day light. The Lot is pretty nasty make sure you have good snow tires and 4 wheel drive until it plowed ( my tires are not good and had to have little help getting out) Thanks Bud.

Ice is really good but only 3 inches at best so we didnt go into the narrows. Partner caught one good crappie right after set up and then we had a slow days few small perch. The other BFT member was farther up on the point and did somewhat better and his bite was pretty steady until 12 ish.

Good first outage all equipment worked and didnt go swimming. That hill going back up is pretty tough not sure I would drop of there again with a full sled.

Thanks for the update. I'm going to try there this afternoon. I am curious where you parked. By the caretaker's place or in the trailhead lot. Thanks in advance.

I was on Cemetery point, North side very slow so I moved to the south side, Slower. Talked to two people who caught 6 crappie, in about 34 feet of water. Saw some small perch right on the bottom, tried to make them rise, they did for just a few inches but would not take my bait. Tried wax worms and nibblets, on jigs, spoons, and 1/32 jigs under a kastmaster, nothing.
Five inches solid ice, someone had a snowmobile on the ice yesterday, going around the point. That looked good. The narrows was only 3" but hard. Tried to upload a photo but it was to big, won't take it. I'll try again. Its just fisherMEN, saw no fish.
There were about 20 tents on each side of the point and about 40 to 50 people. The parking lot was good and rest room was OPEN !! THANKS TO THE PEOPLE in charge.
