Last year I had a lot of fun driving the quad down by the dam on the soldier creek side and fishing by the boat ramp. It was away from the crowds and the fishing was pretty good. I want to go out again this weekend, but I haven't been to strawberry much this year. Can anyone report on the ice condition down on that side of the reservoir?

We were at the point by the dam last weekend on snowmobiles.
5" of clear ice.
