Panguitch Lake Reviews?

I'm looking at buying a small cabin down at Panguitch Lake and wanted to get everyone's opinions on the fishing there. How is the fishing? Any major complaints? Any major compliments about the lake/area? Any feedback on this area would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It (Panguitch) lives up to it's name. If you're looking for a place that rivals Strawberry, then Panguitch would be a good choice!
the only negative that I can see is that you'll be in the neighborhood of Las Vegas throughout the summer. but as for fishing, you can't find much better than Panguitch. http://bfy.tw/46qC [signature]

Panguitch is a great fishery and the area is beautiful. Like PBH said, a lot of Nevada & California folks up there. I have never seen so many fish harvested by anglers as I saw there. I mean they anchor up their rental pontoons and any fish that they catch, unless it's in the slot (and I'm not too sure about that), goes on the stringer. It doesn't matter how small or recent it was eating pellets.[
