I was on the rockpile today and the ice was making alot of noise and moving a bit. I had alot of lookers but only 2 bites all day, got one 3lb cut. They were tight lipped today. Ice was 5" I drove my snomachine out there. Rockpile can be magical at first ice but after it gets hammered for a few days its a little harder. There was 20-30 of us out there today.Probably be better by Wednesday...good luck

Hey I'll bet you guys do great!!! Just don't kill yourselves pushing too hard to get there. I thought I might have a heart attack pulling my sled that weighed as much as a VW. Allow a half hour extra to get on the ice, it's a long hike, but not terrible if you aren't over loaded. Snow was only 3-4" on the ice and the trail should be a highway by now. Good luck. J
