Mantua

Just curious, has anyone fished Mantua or Hyrum lately? Iv found they're a great place to take new fisherman or the kids, in a boat

I usually hit Mantua after the Willard Crappie-fest. May is great for bass and crappie up there.

Right now, it's better for trout, and you might find perch in shallow brush where they are spawning.

If we get a few warm days in a row the bass will move up shallow. I was catching them a week ago in Idaho, so I'd imagine they're stirring down in Mantua.
