We made the decision late Friday night to try and get a few hours in early Saturday morning. Got to the ramp, talked to Kenshep a few minutes and decided to head out. Took a few minutes to find them, but in the hours before the lake became a mad house we managed to boat 16 largemouth, with 6 of the keeper variety. No monsters, with the biggest being right around 3 pounds. All fish caught on Missile baits Da Bombs in Desert Storm color and on fluke, mainly in 2-6 feet of water. We hit two different sloughs and caught fish in both. Was told by a homeowner in one that the homeowners are going to pay to treat for Hydrilla in their slough. Do they have to get permission from TVA to poison the water?Anyway, left the big ones still on the lake for Tim to catch and headed home a little after 12 to escape the flotilla of memorial day boaters.
