Started the day off staying in Harrison Bay fishing the marina. Caught 2 barely over 15" pretty quickly on shakey head. Then Lori, my girlfriend, hooked a good one. It jumped about 10' from the boat and spit her shakey head out. It was in the 5-6lb range and really sucked losing it, but thats how it goes sometimes. Left the park and headed to a few different rock walls and coves up river. Caught a 12.5" spot, but we ended up culling it later. Culled 4 times, but just by ounces each time. Ended up weighing in 5.83lbs i believe. Got soaked and had my dang trolling motor pull rope break on me early in the day, but had fun. Time to put a T-H Marine G-Force cable on the trolling motor i guess. It was Loris first tournament ever and shes hooked now. Ready for the next one!
