Man this post is killing me. My wife gave me the green light for a Gorge trip this weekend, unfortunately I just wasn't able to make it happen. Way to get after them!!!

The new Verado engine can do 41 mph!!! The 10 hour break in period is over and that machine is amazing. It can get from 0 to 20 in 3 seconds I swear. We turned a lot of heads getting around the lake doing 40. No one has seen 26 foot pontoon boats doing that kind of speed. I just wish the engine could troll slower. I have to rely on the ipilot to do our trolling and it only lasted about 4 hours doing 1.8 mph. All in all, it was a fantastic trip. I tried to look for you up there but no luck.

There were four of us and and we were under the limit for the aggregate of 4 rainbows/kokanee limit. Some of our fish were lake trout pups.
