Gold jakes worked well today from the shore. It was very windy in the afternoon, but fish were biting when the wind would calm. Fished from 2-4pm. Caught lots of small rainbows 5"-8"ers. Must be recent planters.

I wonder what the bigger lake trout and splake are eating right now? Hmmmm......



Might be worth getting out in a tube and trolling a big rapala around right now.....
