Hello to all,
I am excited about being a member of this forum to share fishing techniques, equipment, knots, lures etc.
I fish all sorts of areas but primarily offshore. I live on a small 18 acre private lake that is full of Crappie, Brim, and large mouth bass. I get after that on occasion with my fly rod and my grandson.
I recently purchased a Grady White Canyon 336 (used) and have become obsessed with this boat. Being a Boston Whaler man all of my life, I switched and wow, what a difference in the ride.
So lately I have been slowly going through the expense of outfitting the boat with the proper fishing gear. I like to take my time and do my research to make sure it is what I really want to fish with as well as guest I have on board. Catch a lot of red snapper, amberjack, wahoo, tile, etc. Getting rigged up to fish swordfish next. I am pretty much 100% Shimano but not adverse to trying another brand if the quality is better but I doubt it would be.

So jump on in and share your saltwater tactics with me. I would love to learn anything new.

My best
Shor

In the future I will try to remember to put my post in the appropriate section as I did not do so on my first few post.

Welcome aboard and thank you for taking the time to register.

I am a fresh and saltwater angler myself. I still fish more saltwater since my job requires it more. I do love fishing the waters of the world. I would be happy to share any tricks and techniques with you for any species fresh or salt.

I have a 27 foot Cigar boat with a350 inboard motor and outboard trans. I use it more when I am home for Island hopping around Santa Catalina Islands and some of the other Channel Islands off the coast of California.

I am looking forward to sharing with you here. [cool]
