Red Castle Lakes
#1
So I'm headed into the Red Castle Lakes early next week. I was wondering if anyone (I realize this is a long shot) has been in to them this year and has any advice on luers or flies to use. I was planning on the usual gold jakes, ants, mosquitos etc. Any advice would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks!

Try this link from the Utah Wildlife Network site. This is from a couple of weeks ago. Pictures that are posted are phenomenal.

In the morning an evening when the fish are jumping, a fly and a bubble work every time.

You will be fine with those mentioned. I would recommend trying around the east side of the "castle". It is a great place to spend a few days. The east side offers a different perspective, and good fishing as well. The main lake holds some nice fish, although camping there is a little tough. Best of luck, and I hope to see some pics later.

Flies and bubble weigh much less than other Lures, if that is a consideration.
