Fish Lake again?

Hey Guys!

I'm back after a brief hiatus that included a heck of a trip to Arizona hunting quail. What a blast! We go every year and this was one of the best for a long time. Their drought has started to letup so lots of birds and lots of shooting. Those little suckers are FAST!!! -and good eating too!-

Anyway, I'm back and heading up to Fishlake again this weekend. Anyone got a report for me? We haven't been up for about 3 weeks and I got talked into going before the football game Sunday. Hope to knock the @#$& out of the splake and have some to eat with the quail next week! [cool]

We were there a week and a half ago and fished the south end out from the Outhouse. We tried the east side on the south end for a couple of hours in the morning and were only able to hook a couple of fish. We then moved over to the West side just out from the outhouse past the weed line. We caught splake and perch pretty consistently for the rest of the day. White curly tail grubs were the hot ticket for the day tipped with chub meat. If I can talk the In-laws into staying home this weekend I will be up there too, but Cedar isn't on the way to fishlake from Manti so I probably won't be able to ride with you guys. Unless you wanted to swing down and pick me up.
