Echo report 1-29-04

A friend and I took half the day off and went to Echo to catch a Perch dinner. The fishing was good but there were a couple of times when the fish would leave for a while. We could have moved to find more but it wasn't worth the time because they would come back through soon enough. Still caught my limit in about an hour. Fished in 33 ft of water. The fish will hit anything you put down the hole as long as there are fish where you are.

The ice around the edge is getting a little soft with the warm weather. You need to watch that first step or two or else you'll end up with a boot full of water.

Me too.

The kids get jealous when I go when they are in school and they can't come along. So Saturday will be their turn to take it to the fish.
