Hyrum Report

I went to Hyrum today from 11:00 Am until 2:00 PM. There was four of us and we fished in water between 9 ft and 30 ft deep. We had a total of 3 bites with no fish caught. I even tried a perch minnow that came up in a hole I was drilling when the auger broke through the ice.

There were lots of groups of people on the ice but we saw only one fish caught today by a group fishing over the main channel on the south side of the lake.

Did you read T_Mac"s report on Hyrum? He was there Friday and did good, It sure is amazing how fishing can change from one day to the next. Thanks for the report. WH2

No, Wiperhunter2, somehow I missed it. I just looked at it. I seems this year on Hyrum that the fish must be school in certain areas. You either catch fish or you don't. You just have to find the sweet spot where they are hanging. The time of day and the weather might have been a factor as well.
