Flaming Gorge ?

Has anyone launched a boat from Sheep Creek recently? I am thinking of hauling a boat up in the morning.

What about other Utah ramps on Flaming Gorge? And any tips?

I was there Friday. We drove down the dirt road to where sheep creek runs in (looking for ice) There was no ice beyond about 50 yards fron the inlet. I believe the only obsical for lanching a boat might be if there is ice on the concrete ramp. There is only an inch or 2 of snow there , but I didn't drive down to the ramp ro see if it is dry. But the day time temp there on fri was 42 degrees, so it is most likely clear.

I shore fished Flaming Gorge at the pipeline today. Wind was calm. Water was wet and like glass. Sunny beautiful day. Rare and occasional traces of ice in just a few tiny amounts at shore. No fish. I was dressed in camouflage, so how did the fish know it was me?
