Started off fishing at about 8 a.m. in 15' of water on the east side of the boat ramp in the first cove. Managed a decent perch and a 18" rainbow on a glow ratfinkee tipped with a meal worm. Jumped back in the truck and headed around the back side of the lake by the inlet to fish the weed beds for crappie. Didn't find any crappie but did manage a nice sized blue gill on a fire tiger ice fly tipped with a wax worm. Only fish I caught after sitting there for a couple hours so loaded up and went back by the dock to try again. Didn't mark another fish the rest of the day until I left at about 2.

Yup I like that scale too, I put the bow at two cokes long... That gill must be close to 10" by my calculations... Engineer came out in me and I had to scale it out so it was between 9.5 and 10".... Nice fish... later J
