Mud Creek - Strawberry question

I plan to get up to strawberry a week from Sat. I don't have a snowmobile and want to avoid the marina area. Do they plow the road and parking area at mud Creek? Anyone do any good there? I shore fish the area and always do well, but believe it or not never fished the berry thru the ice.

It was plowed a few weeks ago. Be willing to walk half mile towards the mouth. Will be weedy until you find at least 15 feet of water. Chubs, shiners will work better than crawlers.
