Another day at the island

Got a late night call to go fishing Saturday morning and as much as I like my sleep I said yes. We got on the lake at 8 am and headed to the island. We set up on the same spot on the southwest corner. I knew it was going to be a good day when my first cast the bubble went under as soon as it hit the water. There was Jim, 2 of my boys, and myself. We caught 29 catfish and 1 carp in by the time we pulled lines at 10:15. I kept 2 limits worth for a fish fry with my neighbor and another 8 to go on the smoker. For those that keep track one of my boys is 15 and has a license so I’m legal lol. We’ll be eating fish for 4 days.
