Silver lake (AF Canyon)
#1
So this weekend my son and I are making a small backpack trip to Silver Lake for the weekend.  It has been many years since I have fly-fished that lake. (We spin fish it yearly.)  My son is just starting to get the Fly fever and wants to fly the lake this weekend.  What hatches do you think are happening that high up right now?  I wish they would stock the Glance Lake course that's where we are going to be camping.

BTW Silver lake up above Silver lake flat. Af canyon.

I'm not sure about the fly to use but be sure it's ice free before you hike it. I had to break ice this week to launch at Huntington and Brookie found several Uintah lakes still iced over yesterday. I think Silver is about 9000 plus elevation.
