Any suggestions on where on Rockport to target spawning perch next spring?  I’m wondering if the shallows near the inlet would be an area worth checking out. Any ideas or suggestions appreciated. TIA!

Perch spawn early...even under the ice in some lakes.  But usually by end of April into May.  However, they usually do not feed much during the spawn...or for quite a while thereafter.  Best bet is to wait for the water to reach at least 60 degrees in late spring...or later.   They really start to school up and get shallow when the baby perch start showing up in the shallows.  That is typically around the first part of July and runs clear into fall.
