I went camping at the Little Sahara Sand Dunes over the weekend and decided to sneak off and do some fishing. The closest lake I could find was DMAD Reservoir which is about 9 miles north of Delta. The wind was blowing crazy hard so I only fished for a half hour or so. I ended up losing 3 lures and I didn't get a bite. This was the first time I've fished this area. Here is some of the pictures I took.

A lot of folks would have been surprised if you had caught anything but maybe a carp. The irrigators pretty much drain DMAD dry every year.

[left]The DWR netted it recently and said that there are huge crappie in it. Some of the biggest in the state, they figured.
