Pineview Muskie

My dad wanted to get the boat out for a run this weekend so off to Pineview we went with my 8 and 10 yr olds for some fishing. After some cruising around the lake it was time for fishing. We started in the same area where my 10 yr old caught one last year but nothing was taking. So off to a second location that we had a nice strike on top water lures last year.

Trolled suspending Rapalas and picked this one up at lunch time. It would have taken both kids to hold this one. It went back in quickly to be caught another day.

10 yr old got the first one last year, I got this one today, now the 8 yr old is due!

I did not have a long tape measure in the boat so no exact length[crazy] but I would say it was at least 3ft. Definitely a pretty fish and it was back in the water and swimming away right after the photo.

A musky is on my "bucket list" and it's good to know they weren't all sucked out of the lake when all the water was let out! []
