You would have to pay the fee to get in and you would have to be respectful of those using the boat docks but I have seen many people go into the marinas both on the Strawberry side and SC side and catch crawfish from the boat docks. Not sure what rules are there but at the state parks, you can not fish from the boat docks but you might be able to put out traps to catch them. Good luck.

Just an FYI - the water level is extremely high at Strawberry - the usual spots are underwater and most of the shoreline is covered with vegetation. Might work to your advantage but will make it difficult to catch a bunch.

There are some places along the road that takes you down to the dam to throw out some traps.

There is a small place to pull off right before you cross the dam on the sc side. You can pull in crawdads all day long along the dam and on that little finger just after the dam.
